Experience Through Their Eyes

I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. The owner is an authentic italian who doesnt take shit from anyone, and I love it. Know what you want, know how to get there, and generally have common sense and youll end up on his good side. No substitutions, no modifications. You'll read other reviews from people who ended up on his bad side by doing or saying something dumb or generally just being clueless. Pizza is, simply put, the best. Ive tried most of the places in the area and this is #1. There's other places closer to my house, but I'd rather eat a reheated Felicias pizza then a fresh one from anywhere else. Mozzarella sticks are also fantastic and would highly recommend. Also check out the craft sodas in the corner. Seems like this place is no secret though, as it can get very busy on weekends. Dont be surprised to wait 45 minutes or more around dinner time.

Delicious wood fired pizza. Walking into Felicia's is awesome. The smell is amazing with the wood oven, and the flavor comes through in the pizzas. The man there is friendly and I have only seen him there working by himself, so might be busy, and makes a great pie. Consistently good!

The owner is an older Italian man. He has a personality and is not the most accommodating. Like many older people, he is set in his ways. But you can tell that he is extremely hardworking and has a good heart. If you like to have small talk he will definitely strike up a conversation with you when you walk in- probably in a slightly grumpy-ish character, it's part of his charm. I saw a comment that said he is like the Seinfeld soup guy and I have never agreed more Dont try to adjust anything on the pizza, he wont do it. I have had him hung up on me on the phone before, don't try to make conversation over the phone. If you have trouble ordering on the phone use UberEats pickup. His pizza, especially the pomodoro romano is to die for. I tried the famous pizza places in Philly and New York but nothing compared to the caramelized onions here its actually the best thing ever. My boyfriend and I always make an experience out of getting his pizza and have fun with it. His food is truly worth it. However, people like me who are a bit socially anxious or if you are inflexible, do not lose out on the great pizza and do this: call in 20 minutes before you want your pizza, look at the menu before hand and know exactly what you want. I have never anything delivered but I do pick up and the pizzas are always fresh and warm. The pizzas take 20 minutes because he hand kneads out the dough and puts it in the brick wood oven after he gets your order. You can see him make them if you order in and wait for your pizza!! FYI you cant eat in the store. Please please please try this pizza and give the old man a chance. He is difficult but he is hardworking, good hearted and charming in his own way. At the end of the day, if everyone is perfectly nice and well-mannered what fun would that be?

We absolutely love the pizza here! It's always perfectly cooked--just a good, classic, rustic pizza done right. The service is consistently excellent, too. They're quick, efficient, and focused on getting your order in and ready without any hassle. Plus, everyone is always so friendly when we come in to pick up--warm, welcoming, and they make you feel like a regular. Even after moving out of Ardmore, we still make the trip back to pick up from here. It's just that good.
